On April 1st, 2026, our dedicated team of educators gathered for an enriching Professional Development Day focused on two critical pillars of modern education: Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Assessment Literacy. Led by Principal Dr. Claudia, this workshop was a dynamic blend of insight, collaboration, and practical application.

The day wasn’t just about theories; it was about active participation and deepening our shared understanding. Our staff dove headfirst into understanding “Assessment at a Glance,” exploring how different types of assessment can enhance teaching and drive student growth. The energy in the room was palpable as teachers worked in groups, mind-mapping ideas, and sharing best practices.
Here’s a sneak peek into our productive day:
🔹 Deep Dive into Assessments: Groups brainstormed and discussed strategies on assessment of, for, and as learning.
🔹 PBL in Action: Teachers collaborated on project ideas, focusing on how to create authentic learning experiences that are engaging and rigorous.
🔹 Sharing Insights: Presentations on the whiteboard allowed us to visualize our collective thoughts and findings.

This professional development underscores our commitment to continuous improvement and ensuring that our teaching methods best serve our students. We left inspired and equipped with new tools to bring into our classrooms!
