On March 31st, our kindergarten was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed some very special guests to our campus! Officers from our local police department visited our K3 students to lead an engaging and “awesome” Road Safety Talk. Having the officers visit in person provided a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with real-life community heroes and understand that the police are here to keep us all safe and sound.
The session was packed with essential lessons tailored specifically for our young learners. The officers covered vital topics such as pedestrian safety—teaching the children to “Stop, Look, and Listen” at crosswalks—and the importance of being a safe passenger by staying buckled up in their car seats. The children were incredibly attentive, and the highlight of the day was an interactive Q&A session. Our bright K3 students were eager to show off what they had learned, and many earned wonderful souvenirs from the officers for their correct answers.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the local police department for their time and dedication to our students. By teaching these life-saving habits early in a fun and supportive environment, we are all working together to build a safer community for everyone. It was a memorable day that left our students feeling confident and empowered to navigate the world safely!
