Hello! My time in school in SJC has been amazing and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my experiences and express my gratitude for the wonderful journey I’ve had in SJC. From the very beginning, I was warmly welcomed into the school community. The students, teachers, and staff have been incredibly kind and supportive throughout my time here. Their enthusiasm for learning and their willingness to engage with me has made every interaction a joy. One of the aspects I’ve enjoyed the most during my time at school is the opportunity to assist students in their educational pursuits. Whether it was helping them with their homework, answering their questions, or providing guidance on various subjects, I have always been amazed by their curiosity and eagerness to learn and so I tried the same.
The school’s diverse curriculum has also been a source of great enjoyment for me. I’ve had the privilege of exploring various topics and subjects with the teachers, ranging from mathematics and English to Chinese and HS. Each day had brought new challenges and exciting opportunities to expand my knowledge and share it with others. Beyond the academic and extracurricular aspects, the sense of community within the school has been remarkable. From celebrations and events to moments of support and encouragement, this place feels like a second home. The friendships and connections formed here will always hold a special place in my heart.
Lastly, I would like to express my deep appreciation to the teachers who have made my time at school so memorable. Their dedication, passion, and commitment to education have created an environment where learning is not only valued but also cherished. Their guidance has been invaluable, and I am grateful to have them teach me. In conclusion, my time at school has been an incredible journey filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable memories. I am grateful for the friendships, the knowledge gained, and the experiences shared. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my school life. You have made it truly special, and I will cherish these memories forever.

St. Johannes College is a small community devoted to encouraging and fostering the growth of young children. With a small campus, it allows better bonds between teachers and students. Students and teachers care about each other and celebrate successes as a whole.
With the support from one another, it allows students to be curious, and willing to explore new experiences knowing that friends, staff members, and teachers are there to assist them. Besides, it is a pleasure to watch children learn, grow, and achieve their milestones.

This is my honour to serve in SJC for 10 years. SJC is a small school with small classes. It provides the warmest learning atmosphere for students. I would use simplicity, adorable and happy to describe our students in SJC and the school spirit is simple too. It is not an easy task for a school to run for 62 years continuously.
The most important aspect of this school is the colleagues’ working attitudes. We are always “unite as one, when trouble occurs from one spot, help from all quarters”.

The SJC family is not as big as other schools but we are a warm and happy family. Students always try their best to achieve their goals and get on exceedingly well with all of their diverse schoolmates. Moreover, the teachers are kind and welcoming and are able to take care of every student and their needs because of the small class sizes.

Working at a SJC has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. One of the most fulfilling aspects of working at a primary school is witnessing the growth and development of the students. It is amazing to see how they progress academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the year.
Whether it is watching a struggling student finally grasp a difficult concept or seeing a shy child gain confidence and make friends, these moments are truly heartwarming. Furthermore, the relationships formed with the students and their families are incredibly special. Being such a small school, I am able to build a rapport with all the students; getting to know their individual needs and strengths and being their trusted adult figure is an honour that I do not take lightly.
The gratitude and appreciation shown by the families for the work we do is heartwarming and reminds me of the impact we can have on young lives. Working at a primary school is not without its challenges, but the rewards far outweigh them. The dedication and passion of the staff, the growth and development of the students, and the sense of community make it a truly remarkable place to work.
